EV Charging & Smart Energy: RAIVENS products in use
Solution

EV Charging & Smart Energy

DC and AC chargers, smart meters and remote monitoring for charging sites, fleets and buildings, from one in-house team.

In one sentence

Raivens EV Charging & Smart Energy is a range of DC fast chargers, AC chargers and smart electricity meters, designed and built in-house, that helps charge point operators, fleets and property owners charge vehicles, meter energy and bill users.

Limited grid capacity

Many sites cannot add chargers without overloading their supply, and grid upgrades are slow and costly.

Shared energy, disputed bills

Malls, apartments and hostels split one utility connection across many users, and manual readings lead to errors, disputes and unpaid dues.

Chargers nobody is watching

An offline or faulty charger turns drivers away and loses revenue until someone happens to notice.

How it fits together

From first touch to live operations

  1. 1
    STEP 01

    Site assessment

Review grid capacity, traffic, dwell times and parking layout, then plan the charger and metering mix.

  2. STEP 02

    DC and AC charger installation

Install DC fast chargers where vehicles need energy quickly and AC chargers where they park for hours.

  3. STEP 03

    Smart metering and billing

Meter energy per charger, tenant or unit, with prepaid or postpaid billing and remote recharge.

  4. 4
    STEP 04

    Remote monitoring

Track charger status, sessions and meter alerts remotely, backed by after-sales support.

EV charging and smart energy from one in-house team

Electric vehicles move refueling from the fuel pump to the parking bay. Charge point operators, fleet managers and property owners now need chargers, meters and billing that work together. Raivens designs and manufactures EV charging and smart energy hardware in-house: DC fast chargers, AC chargers and smart electricity meters, with remote monitoring, installation support and after-sales service.

The product range

  • DC fast EV chargers: evTor Powerpulse models at 30, 60 and 120 kW, with CCS2 as standard and GB/T options, for highways, fleets, bus depots and commercial hubs.
  • AC EV chargers: wallboxes from 3.3 kW single-phase to 22 kW three-phase for homes, offices, apartments and hotels.
  • Smart electricity meters: prepaid and postpaid meters, including multi-channel sub-metering for malls, apartments, hostels and charging sites.

AC or DC charging?

Site How long vehicles stay Suggested charging
Highway stop, fleet depot Minutes to an hour DC fast charger, 30 to 120 kW
Bus depot Between routes or overnight DC fast charger, 120 kW
Mall or commercial hub One to a few hours DC and AC, mixed by bay
Home, office, apartment, hotel Several hours or overnight AC charger, 3.3 to 22 kW

How a project comes together

Each project starts with a site assessment of grid capacity, traffic, dwell times and parking layout. Next, the chosen DC and AC chargers are installed and commissioned. Smart meters then record energy per charger, tenant or unit, on prepaid or postpaid terms. Finally, remote monitoring shows charger status, sessions and meter alerts, so problems surface before users complain. A site can start with a few chargers and add more as demand grows, provided the first plan leaves room in the supply.

Why work with one partner

Chargers, meters and software from different vendors often leave gaps that no one owns. Raivens designs the electronics, firmware, cloud software and apps in-house, manufactures and tests its products, and supports installation and after-sales service. Since 2012, Raivens has served 15,000+ clients and delivered 1,200+ projects in 8+ countries. Compliance documentation per model is available on request, and variants for local grid and metering standards can be discussed for each project.

FAQ

Common questions

What does Raivens offer for EV charging and smart energy?

Raivens offers DC fast EV chargers in 30, 60 and 120 kW models from the evTor Powerpulse family, AC EV chargers from 3.3 to 22 kW, and smart electricity meters for prepaid, postpaid and multi-channel sub-metering. The DC chargers include remote monitoring and a billing backend, the AC chargers offer RFID and app control with load management, and the meters support remote recharge.

Should a site install AC or DC EV chargers?

The choice between AC and DC charging depends on how long vehicles stay. Where vehicles need energy quickly, such as highway stops, fleet depots and bus depots, DC fast chargers deliver more energy in less time. Where cars park for hours, such as homes, offices, apartments and hotels, AC chargers cost less and have time to do the job. Many sites mix both. Raivens recommends the mix after assessing grid capacity and traffic.

How can buildings bill EV charging and shared electricity fairly?

Buildings bill shared electricity fairly by installing a smart meter on each charging bay, shop or unit. Prepaid meters take credit in advance and accept remote recharges, while postpaid meters record consumption for periodic bills. Multi-channel meters cover up to 10 circuits from one device, which suits malls and commercial buildings. Raivens supplies the meters with a web portal for owners and an app for users.

Can Raivens supply EV charging and metering projects in my country?

Raivens works with clients in 8+ countries. Requirements change from one market to the next, so each project starts with a review of local grid and metering standards, connector types and site conditions. Hardware variants are available on request, and compliance documentation per model can be shared during the review. Send your location and project size through the contact page to begin.

Does Raivens install and support the equipment?

Yes. Raivens supports site assessment, installation, commissioning and after-sales service for its chargers and meters. Because the same in-house team designs the electronics, firmware and software, support comes from the people who built the products. Remote monitoring also helps the team see charger status and narrow down issues before a site visit.
